Locations and regions ​

Regions define the locations from which the monitored URL is checked. By default, every monitor is checked from at least 5 different locations. An incident is created only after a check fails from at least 3 locations to prevent false positives.

To configure monitoring locations, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Monitors section.
  • Select the desired monitor.
  • Click on Configure in the headline.
  • Navigate to Advanced settings.

WARNING

Please be aware that removing locations from a monitor's configuration may increase the number of false positives and incidents.
